Not just a new challenge but a new style of challenge for this week's new video content!
Sam is the first challenger to take on ONE MINUTE LIMIT with an instant sentence awaiting him if he can't escape within that brief sixty-second window!

So before continuing, a quick SPOILER WARNING: As with all Solitary Sixty challenges, the full video is best enjoyed without knowing if the challenger succeeds or not!
Since the challenge and punishment (if Sam fails) both appear within the same video, it's very difficult to hide the outcome of his attempt.
To watch the content without knowing the outcome, go straight to the video page! (There will be one last spoiler warning after explaining the challenge.)
The video starts like any other Solitary Sixty challenge: Sam is locked inside the cell for his task. He believes he has what it takes to escape...
However, he will have just 60 seconds...
If he wins, he takes home £60...
...But if he loses, he is taken prisoner for 60 minutes!

The challenge
Once his handcuffs are removed, Sam is told the codes he needs to release the keys inside the cell. He must remember the codes, gather the four keys and remove the locks from the cell door within his ONE MINUTE LIMIT.
(Here's your last spoiler warning - don't scroll past this preview video if you don't want to know the result before watching the full show! Head to the video page now to enjoy the challenge!)
Still here? Then I shall continue...
When Sam's time is up, the main cell door is locked by the guard and - just to rub in his failure even more - hinged handcuffs are snapped around his wrists for Sam's hour-long sentence as Inmate S-02!
The guard then leaves the prisoner totally alone in his jail cell for a full hour of incarceration.

The immediate nature of the punishment in this new format prompts a frustrated response from Sam. In previous Solitary Sixty challenges, the participants have a chance to reflect and accept their fate, being given a change of uniform outside of the cell before their sentence begins.
Sam does not have this chance - he is fully focused on his brief challenge, so instant lock-in upon failure comes as a surprise!
He is also a very sporty 19-year-old, being into skateboarding, football and many other sports. Being so active means that imprisonment in our cramped cell is a very frustrating consequence! Prepare to hear a lot of complaining in the full video!
