Situated in Birmingham city centre, we have a genuine, secure holding cell, prisoner uniforms, handcuffs, you name it!
WATCH Solitary Sixty
Taking part in our specially-produced videos, we "arrest" our inmates from the worlds of entertainment, sport and social media.

They are challenged to escape from solitary confinement within 60 minutes.
​
If they can beat the challenge in time, they might just win themselves a prize.
But should they fail, they'll be punished with an additional hour inside our cell... And this time, there won't be any chance to escape...
​
Our productions are long-form, allowing you to view the entire arrest and 60 minutes of each sentence from multiple camera angles.

EXPERIENCE Solitary Sixty
If you'd like to try the challenge of Solitary Sixty yourself - either by trying to escape, or just by enduring imprisonment for an hour or two, we also offer visitor experience options.
​
You can tailor the experience with various filming options, so you can choose to have a souvenir video just like our WATCH content. If 60 minutes isn't enough, you can double your sentence. Pick between US and UK prisoner uniforms. Be arrested, have your mugshots taken. Then get locked up... Using additional jail restraints, if you're feeling brave!

The guy behind it all...
My name is Rob - I'm the guard of the Solitary Sixty jail. (You might sometimes see the back of my head in our videos!)

I also run this website, host the experiences and produce all of the content you can watch.
​
Before Solitary Sixty, I ran a similar operation called QuizBob, which as the name suggests, was focused on quiz shows. That too involved video productions and visitor experiences.
​
After six years of running QuizBob successfully, Solitary Sixty is now my full-time project... And I can't wait to share the fantastic content and welcome some of you to the jail!
